In Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, we have a customer who operates two fruit and vegetable processing companies and a transportation company locally. The main business scope is to purchase fruits and vegetables nationwide, and supply them to major hotels, supermarkets, and shopping malls in Phnom Penh after cleaning, processing and packaging. The staple food of Phnom Penh is rice, and residents consume a lot of fruits and vegetables in their daily lives. Relying on the accumulation of business reputation over the years, the customer's fruit and vegetable processing business is getting bigger and bigger.
As Phnom Penh has a tropical climate, the daily weather is mainly humid and hot. Although the local products are rich, the climate is not conducive to the storage and transportation of fresh fruits and vegetables. Especially in the rainy season every year, the air is humid, and the extreme temperature is close to 40 degrees Celsius. The purchase of fruits and vegetables for more than 4 hours will cause a lot of waste.
Is there any way to completely solve the waste caused by not handling it in time? This is the first question a customer asks when they contact our account manager. Based on the specific information introduced by the customer, such as the purchase volume and workshop location, we designed an exclusive solution for the customer. Especially after seeing our cooperation cases in Southeast Asia, customers are moved. After modifying the design layout of the equipment in the factory and some details of the equipment connection in the plan, the cooperation intention was finally determined.
In October 2021, Cambodian Tropicam Company successfully signed a contract with us.
According to the contract, we provided Tropicam with a complete set of fruit and vegetable processing solutions, covering a fruit and vegetable grading production line with an annual output of 5,500 tons, a fruit and vegetable washing production line with an annual output of 1,500 tons, a blanching production line with an annual output of 4,500 tons, and an annual output of 4,500. Including fruit and vegetable classification system, cleaning system, sorting and cutting system, preservation system, dehydration system, packaging system, etc.
In December 2021, we sent professional installation engineers to Phnom Penh to install and debug each production line. So far, the fruit and vegetable processing solution tailored for Tropicam has been successfully implemented. According to customer estimates, after the project is officially put into operation, the annual efficiency will increase by 60% and the loss will be reduced by 300 tons.
